Larry Tibbitts was instrumental in the success of two major General Motors assembly plants. At the Hamtramck assembly plant, he successfully changed an environment and helped Cadillac win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. In addition, he led the management team that built and started the Ramos Arizpe Assembly Plant in Mexico.
