Douglas Ober, a Senior Vice President at BNY Asset Management, is currently responsible for the firm's Institutional Client Development efforts throughout the Midwest. He was formerly responsible for the Bank of New York's Midwest Corporate Division, which included a heavy concentration of North American auto manufacturers and automotive suppliers. His activities included domestic and foreign financing for both OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, as well as strategic advisory services and financial structuring. He has more than 23 years of corporate finance, treasury and international trade experience. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Society of Automotive Analysts. He has focused on the automotive industry since 1991.
